Combining active learning through the Creative Flow Methodology and experiential elements through the Systems Thinking in Action Methodology, this program is designed to enable participants to implement, produce and promote their own more

sustainable.

Goals

● Practical solutions to improve environmental performance in areas such as food and beverage, transportation and supply chain management, resources, others;

● Effective methods to achieve corporate social responsibility goals, among others;

● Design elements to make events more environmentally and socially responsible. Includes: reducing energy and water use, improving accessibility and selecting suppliers, venues and accommodations, audiovisual, transportation, material resource management, marketing and exhibitions, etc.;

● Develop effective community service projects that support organizational goals;

● Learn about international sustainable event standards, measurement and reporting methodologies that can provide guidance in implementing the next sustainable event;

● Understand the commercial value of sustainability for the events sector and understand how to communicate, including improving brand reputation and costs.

 

As part of the program, participants will customize and apply a roadmap for their own sustainable event, and present to an Expert Board.

Recipients

Companies, promoters, producers, organizers, managers, event/congress/fair/festival coordinators, those responsible for events in the Municipal Chambers and students in the areas of event management, arts and entertainment.

Requirements

University attendance; exceptionally minimum 12th year of schooling.
